TALAASH REVIEW BY DEEP

3.5 stars

It's been a long wait since march for the suspense lover. After kahaani it took almost 8 months for Talaash to release. There is no doubt in saying that Talaaash is another Marvelous suspense thriller of the year. I would definitely add it in my best of Bollywood 2012. Story revolve around an inspector Suraj Shekhawat (Amir Khan) who is investigating an mysterious accident of a superstar and also in search of inner peace because of his sons death in an accident, for which he blame himself. He believe that there is some connection between both the death. When his talaash reaches a dead end he meet Rosy (Kareena Kapoor) who lead him with different clues and mysterious paheli's (riddle) till the end. Amir's character of tough talking man who is in pain was clearly portrayed by him and his sleepless night and tiring frustration can be seen perfectly. Roshni's role which is played by Rani was fantastic, and the best in the movie. The emotions, were delivered with a pain and yet she looked beautiful. The dialogue were less for Rani but her expression and silence did all the work. She made me remember of Jaya Bachchan in Sholy, simple yet beautiful. Kareena managed to do well with her character of a prostitute. Nawazzudin (Temur) played a good supporting role which delighted the audience. Music given by Ram Sampat was good, that can be seen with "jee le zara" which is loved by audience. Dialogue written by Frhan Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap were excellent, as there was an Anurag's touch, it gave a sense of Gangs of wassyepur.

Overall the movie is brilliant and worth to watch.
