GOLD IN INDIA.

India ranks 10th in gold reserves in whole world. Indian's officially holding is 557.7 metric tons of gold.

Te major gold mines are in Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, Raichur and Kolar district of Karnataka and Chitoor district of Andra Pradesh.
India has un-mined gold deposits, which if mined over the next decade it can add up to 200 tones. Due to under utilization of gold resources India is unable to become big gold supplier in the world.
