Surrounded by the snowy Himalayan mountains and conifer trees, Dharamshala situated in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh state of India. Its a principal township of Kangra and overlooks wide spread of the plain.
The Dalai lama's recidence and headquarters of central tibetan administration and the exiled tibetan government are situated at Mcleodganj, a village with in the Dharamshala.

Its a peaceful, beautiful and attractive land, where your heart wouldn't allow you to leave this place. Its most accepted place for tracking and calmness. Kotwali Bazar is the best place for shopping, its a famous and crowded market of town. Due to presence of Dalai lama, Dharamshala is popular attraction for tourist in Aurveda and tibetan culture.

If you are a true nature lover then one can't miss morning sun rise behind the snowy mountain, which turns golden for few minutes and the black and white mountains at night with a slight light of moon giving the mountains a silver touch. Even the view of Dharamshala valley from Mcleodganj is awesome.

The marvelous nature, surrounding and culture makes this hill-station a perfect tourist holiday spot.
Winter (from December till March) is best time to visit because the place is completely covered with snow and freezing temperature.
